It was a gift. It’s supposed to be a cursor, of the computer/mouse variety. Funny! But originally I thought it was, like, a comment on my self-centeredness. Like this person assumed I’d want to walk around with an arrow directing people to focus more of their attention than usual to my Self. (Which is kind of the point of walking around ANYWAY.) The fact that I “went there” right away only proves what an asshole I am. Hooray! A sampling from my coworkers’ reactions:

“I’m not feelin’ it.”

“Hahahaha! I think it totally suits you.”

“That looks like some crap trinket a publicist sent us.”

So?

MMMM. Can you pass me one of those Thin Mints? Plus, your eyes are big-utiful (in this picture).

  2. Nick Says:

    OR WHAT?

hmmm. i’m wondering who made that last comment…..i think i might know.

It’s interesting in a strange way. The only problem is, with winter around now, how will it draw enough attention to you from random people on the street? Perhaps you need to invest in a Flavor-Flav-sized one.

“i like it better on him.”

    Nick: WHAT!

Katy: It’s that “corporate” guy Nick from work.

Robert: You’re not kidding! I’ve had lots more trouble attracting attention to myself LET ALONE my neckline during these brutal months. A bigger arrow a la Flav is a good idea. But this camera pic already makes it look disproportionately large as is. Everything is wrong!

Leno, you must be referring to Dr. Tobias Fünke (not on boat). I tell ya, if I still had money I’d BUY another novelty choker just to BURN IT TO THE GROUND!

Perhaps you could have a matching tattoo (temporary at first, of course - to get the size down) on your chin - pointing upwards. I’ve seen some strange things on the streets of New York, and that would absolutely draw attention.

SO WIERD! I thought at first that you had a string line chocker with an arrow pointing to it. Not until I read the blog did it hit a bruva that the arrow is part of the chocker itself!

Shock value lost, it means less to me. But the accessory is still pretty fly.
