It beats those obnoxious “what we’ve been up to this year” letters everyone sends around Xmas time.
Worst offender? My aunt, who is also my godmother. Her and her partner came to my wedding last summer in DC (they live in Atlanta). In their Xmas ‘what we did’ letter, they talked up all these trips they took around the world. But for all they talked about (the letter was an obnoxious two pages long written on some microscopic font), they never mentioned the trip to DC! I felt so insulted. Next year my aunt’s getting a lump of coal.
