Here’s my love letter to Crystal Waters and Kristi Yamaguchi. It’s the PopWatch item I always wanted to write and now I have. I rule! Slightly.

This is me. I am an angry smiley.
Ugh, seriously, every time I catch my own image in a computer (constantly, maybe because I’m looking for it…maybe because I am always at a computer) or become suddenly aware of my own skin (medium-rare), I notice my forehead is all scrunched up like I’m REALLY CONCERNED about […]

love it. there was not a bigger kristi yamaguchi fan than me circa ‘92 or whenever that was. i would make my parents empty the garage of cars, close the door, blast something not unlike crystal water and roller skate my heart out. those were the days.

They pulled (out of a hat, I shit you not) Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding and guess who got the K to the Y? This girl. It’s still hanging in my closet. There are even poorly placed “action lines” to suggest that she is mid-spin.
[Cherry] — Maybe you’re homeless.
