We do not TOLERATE people who abbreviate words in texts. Spell it out. If you think that would make things too long and tiresome for you, consider simply making the text message shorter. We could all use the break from your usual bullshit anyway.

I wholly agree with you! I cannot stand at all when people abbreviate their texting/IMing, emailing. Especially creepy guys on, say, Match.com that are making a first impression. I have a first impression… I am not impressed. DELETED

The internet shorthand sucks, but I would have loved to get that message from my provider (Cingular). I’m facing 100 bucks in overages due to text messaging. I’ll deal with some lame abbreviations if that can be prevented next month.

Yeah, even if you’re going to sink into the abbreviating habit, at least make the FIRST text with complete words.
Amish: wait a minute, you’re right. I have Cingular too and the same though not as severe problem.
Maybe my biggest hangup is that people say “ur” instead of “yr”… I always sound it out in my head as “oor”

I didn’t find last night’s episode to be that great. Yes some parts were awesome - especially the Seth/Ryan exchanges - but all in all I felt it was too “everyone gets a happy ending.” Call me sadistic, but I was hoping there would be some tragic outcome for someone (and no, the Cohen house doesn’t count).
I don’t know what to expect for next week’s episode. Methinks it will be more of the happy ending crap. BUT, did you catch the preview for it? When they said “A Wedding”, they showed a shot of Julie and BULLIT! WTF?!
